Thank you so much to everyone who came to the book launch and talk at Oslo Kunstforening yesterday! A special thanks to Ole John Aandal, Nicholas Norton, Vibeke Tandberg, Mikkel McAlinden, and Susanne Østby Sæther for participating in conversations about the book, as well as about Bergensskolen and its significance for Norwegian photography since the 1990s.

The book presents over one hundred artworks from Aandal’s career. Through interviews, in-depth analyses, and a broad art and photographic historical contextualization, new perspectives on Aandal’s work are opened up. The book includes texts by Nicholas Norton, Liv Brissach, Nora Joung, Susanne Østby Sæther, and Eirik Zeiner-Henriksen. It is edited by Nicholas Norton and Elisabeth Byre, and designed by Blank Blank.
